Biography

Tobias “Profit” Smith was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in a single-parent home by his father.

From Chicago, the two of them relocated to Detroit, Michigan. In Michigan, Profit graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelors degree in Business Logistics and Marketing. After graduating, Profit began to heavily pursue his music career and became the Production Director for radio’s nationally syndicated, Warren Ballentine Show.

In 2002, Profit incorporated the record label LUV2FLO Entertainment at the age of 20. The independent label specializes in hip hop, and R&B music as well as audio/video and film production.
